from: http://fairuse.stanford.edu/Copyright_and_Fair_Use_Overview/chapter0/0-b.html

"What role does a copyright notice play?
Until 1989, a published work had to contain a valid copyright notice to receive protection under the copyright laws. But this requirement is no longer in force -- works first published after March 1, 1989 need not include a copyright notice to gain protection under the law."

well I see it has been removed. So is it just "porn"?
And where can I find rules on what's acceptable in here?

the idea was to send it not because "porn" but because of interest regarding pop culture (it even originated a musical) and is apparently public domain.
Not to mention the fact it is now part of this (apparently bogus) peer to peer legal case.

If it is really PD as I think, Archive.org should host it also as a support to those "John Does" who in my opinion did nothing wrong.
